What is EMINI Bible?

EMINI Bible is a free Christian Bible app for reading, listening to, and meditating on the Bible. It offers a verse of the day, audio by human voices in many languages, reading plans, reading circles with friends, and Selah, a study companion. EMINI is a work of the Ministère des Élites pour Christ. “Èmi ni” means “I am” in Yoruba, a reference to Exodus 3:14.

Is EMINI free?

Yes, EMINI Bible is completely free. It is not a commercial product but a work consecrated to God. There are no ads, and your data is never sold.

How do I install EMINI Bible?

On Android, EMINI is available on Google Play: tap “Install” on the EMINI Bible listing.

On iPhone (Safari): open eminibible.com, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen.” An EMINI icon then appears on your phone, just like a regular app.

Which languages is the Bible available in?

To read: in English, the King James Version; in French, the Louis Segond 1910, the Darby, the Segond 21, and the Nouvelle Édition de Genève 1979 (the last two by permission of the Société Biblique de Genève).

To listen: audio by human voices in more than 2,000 languages, including many African languages: Fon and Adja from Benin, Yoruba, Lingala, Swahili, Hausa, Igbo, Ewe, Bambara, Kabiye, Mooré, Dioula, Akan/Twi, Sango, Kinyarwanda, Amharic, and many more. The written text exists in nearly 1,500 languages; for some (Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Fon, Adja), only the audio is available for now. More versions and languages keep being added.

What is Selah?

Selah is EMINI’s study companion (in French for now). It helps you understand a passage, meditate on it, and go deeper into the Word. It stays humble and careful: it does not replace God, the Bible, prayer, or pastoral care, and the Bible always remains the authority. “Selah” is a Hebrew word often understood as “pause and reflect”; it appears 71 times in the Psalms.

Can I listen to the Bible?

Yes. EMINI offers the Bible in audio, read by human voices, in more than 2,000 languages. You can listen to the Word on your way to work, at home, or with your eyes closed. Listening requires an internet connection.

Do I need an account to use EMINI?

No. You can read, listen, and meditate without an account. An account (by email or with Google) is only used to save and sync your favorites, notes, plans, and circles across your devices.

What is a reading circle?

A circle lets you follow a reading plan together — as a family, a small group, or a church — see how far along each person is, and encourage one another.
